What will change in the Labour Law since 22 February 2016
On 22 February 2016, the Act of 25 June 2015 Amending the Labour Code and Certain Other Acts (Journal of Laws of 2015, item 1220) comes into force, and this Act will certainly be of great importance to Polish employers.
Below we present the most important changes covered by the amendment.
I. Determination of the specifics of employment contracts for a trial period. The new regulations clearly define the purpose of concluding an employment contract for a trial period, i.e. checking the employee's qualifications and the possibility of employing them to perform specific types of work. In addition, the new regulation explicitly stipulates that a contract for a trial period may be concluded only once, and its re-concluding is possible only in strictly defined situations.
